Vocalist/producer Johnie B and rapper/producer Alexander "Spadez" Martinez met in class at NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
Forming an instant connection after partnering for a project, their bond quickly developed into a blossoming professional career and now the world is meeting them as PRTTY BOYS.
Today the BOYS release their debut album The Juice Factory, a batch of sharp but dreamy synth-pop tracks produced with precision. Calling to mind glowing city lights and late night escapades, the 18-track collection, which the pair wrote, produced, and engineered themselves, is fortified with hip hop rhymes and West Coast swag, making it the perfect soundtrack for taking an adventurous drive after dark.
PRTTY BOYS are without a doubt a duo to keep an eye on. Learn more about them and their new release in their questionnaire-style interview with Musical Notes Global below.
