Latino Urbano Duos: Angel y Khriz

Today we thought we'd visit the urbano side of música latina with a great duo, "Los Internacionales" Angel y Khriz.

Hailing from Puerto Rico, Angel y Khriz caught our attention with their 2010 album Da' Take Over. Although they are primarily a reggaeton duo (now signed to Pitbull's record label Mr. 305 Inc), we love the tropical flavors they sprinkle through some of their biggest hits. Their recent hit "Wepa," the third single off their upcoming fourth studio album, is bright and colorful in sound, and it makes us want to get up and dance every time we hear it (which we sometimes actually do).

Sixto Rein and Chino & Nacho New Video Release

Some of our favorite música latina comes to us from Venezuela, which is overflowing with incredible talent right now. Sixto Rein just released an awesome new video with fellow venezolanos Chino & Nacho. Titled "Vive La Vida," this explosive track will quickly become a new fan favorite (if it's not already) and has given us our first little taste of the freedom we wait so long for every year, the freedom that only summer brings. We've had this song on repeat all week. We bet you will too.

Natalia Jiménez Upcoming Album Release

We first took notice of Natalia Jiménez when she was featured on Ricky Martin's "Lo Mejor de Mi Vida Eres Tú," the Spanish- language version of "The Best Thing About Me Is You" (2011). Beginning her career as a member of the Spanish duo La Quinta Estación in the early 2000s, Natalia has quickly become accomplished as a solo artist over a short period of time. She won the Premio Lo Nuestro for Breakout Artist of the Year in 2012, and her unique voice has been compared to that of the great Celine Dion.

These days she's an extremely busy woman, currently serving as a coach on La Voz Kids and preparing for the launch of her new album Creo en Mí. After hearing (and loving) the powerful title track, her first single from the album, we can't wait to listen to the rest of it when it launches on March 17.
