Irish-American songwriter, pianist, and arranger Arthur Hanlon will accompany Italian trio ll Volo in Mexico this month.
Hanlon recently released the music video for his version of the classic Mexican song "Huapango," which is part of his audio-visual project Viajero and serves as a tribute to the country and to musical virtuosity.
Viajero is a huge and profound project, taking Hanlon's audience on a visual journey through Europe, Latin America, and Miami in order to provide an understanding of each iconic song he covered on the album. Hanlon says, "The language of music opened the door for me to find fascinating people and stories and discover and celebrate life and music in many corners of the world," and this is something proven not just in his latest project but in the fact that he is performing in Mexico with the highly acclaimed Sanremo-winning Italian trio.
