Soul + Christmas = Danny Gokey's New Holiday Album
/It's Christmas time again, and we're loving the new Christmas album from Danny Gokey.
Finishing at 3rd place on the 8th season of American Idol, Gokey has since released two albums: My Best Days (2010) and Hope in Front of Me (2014). While he has dabbled in the Country and Christian music genres, he never fails to put his soulful spin on whatever song he sings.
On Christmas Is Here, Gokey sings both old Christmas classics and new soon-to-be hits, including his moving single "Lift Up Your Eyes."
The album debuted this year at No. 1 on Billboard's Holiday Album chart.
