A super romantic ballad, "Tu y Yo" is the perfect combination of Latin pop and urban styles. About the collaboration Torres said: "As a composer my goal is to find a story and a melody that moves me deeply. As a producer I'm on an eternal pursuit of finding new sounds that make my imagination fly. Daddy Yankee and I had great chemistry at the studio and I feel we found a unique combination, a new direction for Spanish pop."

Torres was recently nominated for two Latin Grammys as a producer and engineer for his work on Jesse & Joy's Un Besito Más and Andres Cepeda's Mil Ciudades, both Album of the Year nominees. Daddy Yankee will be honored with the 20th Anniversary Award this weekend at the fifth annual Festival People en Español for his contributions to music over the past 20 years.
