Alessio Bernabei Releases First Solo Album Noi siamo infinito

Alessio Bernabei, former lead singer of the Italian band Dear Jack, has released his first album as a solo artist...and it's already at No. 2 on Italy's iTunes chart!

Bernabei, who competed in Sanremo last year with Dear Jack, entered the Italian music festival this year as a solo artist in the Big Artist category, competing against his former band.  His debut album shares its title with his Sanremo entry this year, "Noi siamo infinito."

The 12-track album includes, of course, the single "Noi siamo infinito," which was certified Gold and has sold more than 25,000 digital copies, as well as two songs written entirely by Bernabei himself: "Fra le nuvole" and "Obbligo e verità." Also included are "Due giganti" (one of MNGBlog's favorites) and a beautiful remake of Riccardo Cocciante's 1978 song "A mano a mano," which he performed as his cover song at Sanremo with duo Benji & Fede by his side.

Bernabei will perform two concerts in Italy this month (April 19 in Milan and April 21 in Rome) and will bring along special guests Benji & Fede, rapper Fred De Palma, Zero Assoluto, and Briga.
