Legendary Brooklyn-based rapper Talib Kweli has just released his eighth studio album Radio Silence.

With a career that spans more than two decades, Kweli can be considered one of the most lyrically gifted, socially aware, and politically insightful rappers in recent history and is one of the most most in-demand performers in the genre.

While creating his new album, Kweli experienced significant personal growth and gained a new perspective, but despite the fact that it took nearly four years to complete, Radio Silence has been well worth the wait.

"I wanted to create an album that showcased my growth as a musician and I feel I've done that whether people understand its vision or not..." Kweli said. "This is not an album that owes its inspiration to an aesthetic, this is the sound I heard in my head."

Radio Silence includes the singles "Heads Up Eyes Open" ft. Yummy Bingham and Rick Ross and "Traveling Light" ft. Anderson .Paak, as well as collaborations with BJ The Chicago Kid, Wacka Flocka, Amber Coffman (Dirty Projectors), and more, and is now available in physical and digital forms.
