Salt Petal Releases New Track "Disco Rats"

Los Angeles-based surf rock group Salt Petal has just released the latest single from their upcoming album Rare Hearts.

Titled "Disco Rats," the funky track was mixed by Eduardo Arenas of tropical soul band Chicano Batman and blends electronic elements with Latin-flavored horns.

Salt Petal is now one of the most in-demand festival bands in Los Angeles. They have played a variety of major music festivals like SXSW and are becoming famous for combining South American rhythms such as cumbia and Argentinian folk with indie pop and 1960s rock and roll. In anticipation of the new album, the band previously released "Telephone" as the lead single. Learn more about it here.

Rare Hearts drops next Friday, April 28.
