ICYMI: Watch Kevin Tiah's "Fight For You"

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Kevin Tiah is a multi-genre, multi-talented artist with mad skills.

Having performed at some of his city's most prominent venues—including The Metro, Factory Theatre, and Oxford Art Factory—as part of a post-hardcore/screamo band, "Fight For You" marks Tiah's transition into a promising solo career.

Although he began writing the pop ballad in high school, he never finished it, and it wasn't until this year that he returned to the piece to complete it. Released in March, the music video, directed by Timothy May, shows the various struggles that modern couples face due to work-life, career, and the overuse of smart devices by following Kevin and his significant other through their day-to-day life. After losing her because of his inability to balance his work-life and his relationship, Kevin eventually acknowledges his faults and attempts to win her heart back. With the video, Kevin combats the rampant occurrence of this neglect and the breakdown of relationships in today's society by helping us remember what's really important in life: human connection. "Cherish every moment with your loved ones," he said about the concept, "and don't wait for it to become a memory before you realize how valuable it was to you."
