Watch: "Mean It," the New Video from Boston's Terence Ryan

Born and raised in Pembroke, Massachusetts, singer-songwriter Terence Ryan is breathing new life into the music industry with a unique perspective that is as honest and raw as it is inspiring.

Growing up in a working-class family and town where the need to survive took precedence, Ryan made music in his parents' basement until, one day, he left everything he knew behind—including his industrial warehouse job—in order to follow his musical dreams in a bigger way.

Those dreams brought him to California, where, while working odd jobs to survive, he was finally able to find his voice after years of being stifled by the rigors of every day life. Now back on the East Coast, Ryan is building a strong portfolio of songs that spin soul, indie rock, and 808 drums into a compelling sonic landscape over which he tells his story.

Last week, Ryan released the video for his song "Mean It," another brilliant track that is lyrically informed by his life experiences and the struggles of working-class America. Watch below.
