After leaving a job in corporate America to return to India, musician, composer, and activist Pragnya Wakhlu is now one of the few independent woman musicians and guitarists in the Indian Independent music circuit.

Driven by a desire to help others, Wakhlu's latest track carries a powerful message. Set over moving images that convey love, unity, and closeness, "Burning Fire" brings awareness to the issue of self immolations in the Tibetan community and their struggle to preserve their identity. The video, which was directed by Divya Gopalan, has garnered play on VH1 and MTV India and shines a light on multiple generations, capturing the emotional experiences of the Tibetan people.
