Puerto Rican trap star Bad Bunny continues his remarkable year with a Latin Grammy nomination.

The self-taught singer and songwriter has experienced massive success since first bursting onto the scene in 2016, exploding on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram, and has since collaborated with artists like Becky G, Farruko, Karol G, and Nacho and Yandel. His 2017 Latin Grammy nomination comes in the Best Urban Fusion/Performance category for the song "Si Tu Novio Te Deja Sola," a collaboration with J Balvin with an accompanying music video that has hit over 700 million views since its release in March.

"It is an honor to receive a Latin GRAMMY nomination; it is truly a dream come true," he said. "Thank you all for your support, this would not be possible without the love of those who have followed me from the beginning."

Bad Bunny also spoke on the Latin Trap panel at this year's Billboard Latin Music Conference, which included the participation of urban artists Farruko, Bryant Myers, Messiah, and Noriel, and producers Santana and Jonathan Gandarilla. He is currently touring Europe for the second time this year with concerts scheduled in England, Spain, Italy, France, and Switzerland.

Watch the 18th Annual Latin Grammy® live from Las Vegas on Thursday, November 16 at 8 p.m. Est on Univision.
