Albanian-born Italian singer Ermal Meta has announced the release of his new album Non abbiamo armi.

The news comes after it was announced that Meta will participate for the second year in a row in Italy's prestigious Sanremo music festival, which takes place from February 6-10, 2018.

Last year Meta won over audiences across Italy with his moving 2017 Sanremo entry "Vietato morire," a statement against domestic violence that landed him in third to winner Francesco Gabbani. This year he will compete with the song "Non mi avete fatto niente," a statement against terrorism and duet alongside singer-songwriter Fabrizio Moro, who also participated in Sanremo last year.

Non abbiamo armi is set for release on February 9. Tracklist below.
