Sanremo 2018: Watch "Frida (Mai Mai Mai)" from The Kolors

Sanremo 2018 is in full swing and Musical Notes Global is bringing you the latest from The Kolors!

Lead by vocalist Antonio "Stash" Fiordispino, the electro pop and funk trio won the Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2015 and have become famous for their high energy English-language tracks.

This year The Kolors hit the prestigious Ariston stage for the first time ever as one of the 20 participating acts in the Big Artist category of Italy's Sanremo Music Festival. Making reference to Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, they enter the contest with the epic drum-driven modern day love story "Frida (Mai Mai Mai)," their first Italian-language song.

"We know that this piece isn't typical of Sanremo," Stash said in a post on Instagram, "but this is us."

Watch "Frida (Mai, Mai, Mai)" below.
