Jamtronica artist and groundbreaking bass player Freekbass will soon bring his super fly funk to New York City’s Rockwood Music Hall with the help of The Bump Assembly.

The tour comes in support of their new album All The Way This. All The Way That., which was created with the help of co-producers Itaal Shur and the founder of the Color Red record label Eddie Roberts.

All The Way This. All The Way That. is the group’s seventh album in studio and over the course of its 10 tracks, they explore the past, present, and future of funk music, bringing listeners through different places and different eras while pushing the Cincinnati sound to new limits by mixing in universal influences. “This album could have been recorded in 1972 and some of it in 2072,” Freekbass says. “The Funk is timeless to me, and that is what I always want to try to create, both live and in the studio.”

Following the show on September 13, Freekbass will stop in Portland, OR and Grand Rapids, MI.
