Francesca Michielin's Return to Music

At just 16-years-old, Francesca Michielin was the winner of the fifth season of Italy's X Factor in 2011. Now 20, the singer from Bassano del Grappa has released her second studio album.

With the help of a great team, including producer/songwriter Michele Canova, who has worked with artists such as Jovanotti and Tiziano Ferro, Michielin has created an album that marks a new beginning in her musical career. Titled di20 (Diventi), it comes three years after her debut album Riflessi di me and features 11 tracks, many of which were written or co-written by Michielin herself, such as "Battito di ciglia" (check it out on August's list of our Top 5 Italian Songs of the Moment), and the Fortunato Zampaglione-penned "L'amore esiste" and "Lontano."

Also featured on the album is the song "Amazing," which was featured in the movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

You might also recognize Michielin from her duets with the Italian rapper Fedez: the FIMI-certified multi-platinum singles "Cigno Nero" and "Magnifico," the music videos for which are among the top 10 most viewed videos ever on YouTube in Italy.

Michielin will embark upon a short in-store tour through the remainder of October and the beginning of November. For more information, including store dates, visit her Facebook page: Francesca Michielin.
