The Gold Setting Drops Soulful New Single "My Love"

The Gold Setting has just released an impressive new track that is sure to become a springtime favorite.

"My Love" is a track that frontwoman Liza Colby calls "A throw back to Motown song with an updated feel and a Cali groove." A sensual fusion of electro-pop, Motown, and '90s R&B, it wraps you up like a warm blanket and places Colby's smooth, enchanting vocals, which are only further enriched by those of Los Angeles-based producer/musician Godfrey At Large, amidst an enveloping array of vintage sounds.

The Gold Setting brings together four industry powerhouses under the umbrella of one name. Colby (The Liza Colby Sound) joins forces with multi-instrumentalist/arranger/performer Todd Simon (Sharon Jones, Lily Allen), Grammy-nominated producer/engineer/musician/composer Adam Berg (Decoders), and songwriter/producer/musician Richard Rudolph (Stevie Wonder, A Tribe Called Quest, 2Pac), to create an inescapable, all-encompassing experience that will only continue to captivate and impress in the coming year.

"My Love" is one of four tracks featured on the band's upcoming EP Volume and Tone, which is scheduled for release in April. Listen to the song below and be sure to follow The Gold Setting on social media:
