The Bones of J.R. Jones aka Jonathan Linaberry has released his third studio album.
Driven by sizzling guitars and heart-pounding drums, Ones To Keep Close brings to life what Linaberry is best known for: his unique blend of hard-hitting garage-influenced soul, blues, roots, and Americana. Gritty, earthy vocals are woven together with delicious moments of tender vulnerability, raging passion and traces of melodic sunshine, forming a wonderfully diverse 11-track collection that will keep listeners captivated from beginning to end.
Ones To Keep Close follows The Bones of J.R. Jones' critically acclaimed sophomore album Spirit's Furnace and includes the previously released singles "Burden" featuring soul-psych artist Nicole Atkins, as well as "I See You" and his most recent, "Sinner Song," a stirring track that touches on the themes of death and rebirth.
