Nashville's Soheill Returns with New Single "Lead Me On"

After taking on a new moniker earlier this year, Nashville indie rocker Sam Hale, now Soheill, has returned with another single that shines bright.

Effervescent and dynamic, “Lead Me On” is a charismatic pop-flecked track that explores a relatable and complicated topic: falling for someone who is unavailable. As the title suggests, the Iranian-American singer and songwriter explores the dynamic of a one-sided relationship and approaches the subject with refreshing honesty, revealing the complex feelings and obsession that can consume us entirely when we get caught up in the fiction of a fantasy—and the romance of potential—instead of facing the reality of a situation.

"I think we've all chased someone who doesn't want us back,” he says. “I had the unfortunate chance to see this happen to one of my close friends, and it's toxic. It's truly like an addiction you just can't kick."

With “Lead Me On,” Soheill’s powerful and engaging storytelling triumphs once again. The song follows “Start All Over” and “Can’t Stop Thinking” as the third single Soheill has released in 2020 under his new moniker.
