Valencia, the British-American pop duo joining Jadeyn Madsen and Lou Courts, have returned today with a brand new single that’s perfect for summer play.

Like a cool sea breeze, “Out Of Line” is dreamy and refreshing and sees the duo once again doing what they do best, integrating contemporary pop with electronic elements. Brimming with airy melodies and sweet vocals, the song demonstrates the couple’s electric chemistry while also boasting a refreshing dose of honesty, as it explores the complex feelings that occur when a relationship comes to an end and the satisfaction that results from finally getting closure.

"The desire to be ‘out of line’ is about giving in to the temptation to reopen the door that’s already been closed, and just for one night, dive right back into the past to try and get some closure,” the duo explains about the song. “In our writing process, we are really comfortable diving into our emotional past, and exploring past relationships. We’re always looking for those real emotional experiences and struggles; whether these be toxic relationships or simply two people growing apart and heading down different paths, we try and find recurring themes that we’ve experienced (and that we hope others can relate to) to base our songs around, as we hope to build an emotional connection with the subject matter."

“Out Of Line” follows Valencia’s debut single “Light of You” and its follow up “Chasing” as the duo’s third single. Listen below.
