Fabio Rovazzi and pop legend Gianni Morandi have just dropped a huge summer hit that unites generations.
23-year-old Rovazzi, a modern web star, comedian and video maker, rose to fame last year with the viral songs "Andiamo a comandare" and "Tutto molto interessante," while Morandi, one of Italy's most beloved music icons, has sold more than 50 million records over the course of his multi-decade career and is a Sanremo winner.
"Volare" is the first collaboration for this unexpected pair and has proven to be successful, as the vibrant electro-pop track quickly hit No. 1 on iTunes Italy. The action-packed, movie-like music video accumulated 2.5 million views in less than 24 hours after its release and features cameos from Italian music stars J-Ax and Fedez as well as from celebrities like Frank Matano and Angelo Duro.
