Mahmood & Blanco's "Brividi" Breaks Records in Italy, Becoming the Most Streamed Song in a Day

Sanremo 2022 is in full force and Mahmood, the contest’s 2019 winner, has returned to the stage again, but not without stunning listeners everywhere.

This year, the Milan-born singer and songwriter joins forces with talented young sensation Blanco, delivering the breathtaking love song “Brividi.” Presenting for the first time on Tuesday, February 1, the song became an immediate hit, making its debut at #1 on digital platforms and upon its release on Spotify quickly broke the record to become Italy’s most streamed song in a day on the platform, garnering 3,384,192 listens in just 24 hours. It currently ranks at #5 on Spotify’s Global chart.

The official music video, which was filmed in Amsterdam under the direction of Attilio Cusani, has already won more than 6 million plays on YouTube, while the duo’s live performance from Tuesday night rose to trend at #1.
