Summer Thieves Reminds Listeners to Lighten Up With Infectious New Single "Hands"

New Zealand-based quartet Summer Thieves delivers the perfect blend of reggae, hip-hop, rock, and funk.

Comprising Jake Bartos (guitar/vocals), Adam Spencer (bass), Johnny Ward (drums/vocals) and Izzy Bones (guitar/keys), the band made their official debut with the album Warped at the end of 2017 following a series of sold-out shows in New Zealand supporting Sticky Fingers.

Summer Thieves just released their new single “Hands,” a fun and infectious track that reminds listeners that everyone has imperfections and that it’s okay not to take themselves too seriously. “We all have vices or bad habits that we tend not to shine a light on,” they say. “This song was to put a positive spin on the negative and have a little laugh at ourselves and the stupid things we do from time to time.”

“Hands” is the third single from Summer Thieves’ upcoming EP, which is scheduled for release in early 2020. Watch the official music video below.
