Known for his viral mega hit “Toda,” renowned Latin urban artist Alex Rose has been topping the charts ever since the release of his new EP Lost in November.

A proud native of Puerto Rico, Rose is now using his music as a means of change and inspiration, fiercely advocating for his island while it faces devastating challenges. In fact, his newest music video “Jangueo” ft. Rafa Pabón, which was released last month, is now serving as a springboard to help get his fans involved in supporting humanitarian efforts amid the ongoing crisis there as well.

Vibrant and rhythmic, “Jangueo” is featured on Lost and has accumulated more than 10 million streams on digital platforms to date. The music video, which was filmed under the direction of Fernando Lugo and Rafael Yanez in Miami, reflects the colors of the song through playful settings, shifting visual perspectives, and fantastical props like glass pillars of candy and delectable macarons.

Watch as Alex talks all the details of “Jangueo,” including what he loves most about the song, his favorite moment while filming the music video, and why he chose to partner with Colors of Life Children’s Foundation in his interview with Musical Notes Global below.
