Ivy Queen is Touring the United States! Catch Her Raíz No Rama Tour in Your City
/La reina de reggaeton, Ivy Queen, is finally touring the United States!
After recently giving three outstanding performances in Mexico City, Miami, and New York, the Latin urban music pioneer, feminist, and acclaimed songwriter will continue the success with a total of 19 new tour dates in America’s largest cities. The Raíz No Rama tour kicked off yesterday in New Jersey and makes a stop today in Richmond, VA.
The news of the tour came ahead of the release of Ivy Queen’s latest single “Un Baile Más,” a powerful song that has the Puerto Rican-born singer asking someone she loves for one more dance.
In a genre dominated by men, Ivy Queen has helped give women a voice and the strength to follow their dreams, proving by example that they have the power to change the world. At the 2019 Musa Awards, she became the only singer-songwriter in her genre inducted into the Latin Composers Hall of Fame, and this year she is nominated in two categories for the Tu Música Urbano Awards: "Album Of The Year" for her EP "Llego La Queen," and "Top Female Artist.”
