[EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE] Ali Blake Advocates for Change in Compassionate New Video "Witness"

During these tumultuous times, Chicago-born singer-songwriter Ali Blake is tapping right into the most compassionate parts of the human spirit with her latest release.

Today Musical Notes Global has the exclusive premiere of Blake’s “Witness,” a soaring and graceful anthem for change that addresses immigration in the United States today and the abominable effect it’s had on the innocent children of migrant families.

Directed by Mary Cebrián, who also did the choreography, the video is a powerful visual backdrop for the song and its poignant message, which is reflected in the emotive movements of the dancers as they sway in the glorious natural beauty of the desert beneath a cloudless, hope-inspiring, crystal blue sky.

“I want the song and video for Witness to bring awareness to the injustice that is happening here in the U.S. with thousands of migrant children being held in detention centers. Children don’t deserve to be in cages,” Blake says. “They deserve freedom and to be with their families. We don’t have to and must not be silent. We can do something about it together.”

As an added benefit, "Witness" raises awareness for Every.Last.One, an organization dedicated to aiding kids in detention centers throughout the United States.
