Bayou Gets Real in New Single "Alone"

Born in Egypt and based in Dubai, the rising talent writes his music with his cultural heritage at the root of it all, harnessing the enchanting magic of Arabian melodies while adding a contemporary touch of R&B to create a sensual yet dreamy sound with global appeal.

Having released his debut single “Moonlight” in 2019, Bayou has returned this summer with his third single, “Alone,” a sizzling jam inspired by unrequited love. Showing his vulnerability through smokey yet earnest vocals and direct lyrics, the artist explores a relationship that is about to fall apart, highlighting the notorious “cat and mouse” game that can exist between two lovers.

“I realised the woman I once cherished manipulated me for her own selfish gain,” Bayou reveals.
