Shawn Mendes and Teddy <3, songwriting and producing duo extraordinaire, collaborated to create an acoustic cover of the famous Queen/David Bowie duet “Under Pressure.” Just in time for the Queen/Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
The duo’s harmonies alone make the cover a memorable yet respectful homage to the great Freddie Mercury, Queen, and David Bowie. This cover is also a great way for younger music fans to connect with older music fans—Mendes and Teddy <3 have put a modern spin on a long-standing classic.
Better yet, all proceeds of the track go towards the Mercury Phoenix Trust, which helps the worldwide fight against AIDs.
