Bay Area-based duo Bang Data has been working together for nearly ten years and are now celebrating the release of their newest album LOCO.

Singer, songwriter, and rapper Deuce Eclipse and producer/multi-instrumentalist Juan Manuel Caipo dig down deep on this one while honoring their Latin heritage. From the dynamic hard-hitting energy and stomping beat of the title track to the ukulele-driven "Ya No Más" and the awakening lyrics of "Love Is Your Friend,"  LOCO is an original electro-acoustic fusion of cumbia, reggae, dance, and hip-hop that takes listeners on a bilingual journey through love, life, and politics.

“With LOCO, more than ever, we feel we want to share our music, stories and culture in a time that many call 'Trumps America'," they said. "We are Latinos born in the USA, we’re from here and our music is a reflection of that as well as a contribution to American culture. Hopefully this album will open the mind of those people who feel that people that speak another language do not belong here.”

The 12-track collection, which was recorded and mixed at Caipo's studio in Oakland, also includes an array of sonically diverse collaborations with musicians like Grammy-nominated Nicaraguan band La Cuneta Son Machin ("Aquí No Se Gana Pero Se Goza"), Equipto of The Frisco Five, and Seti X ("Furiosos").

LOCO is now available to stream and download on digital music platforms.

Bang Data will perform at SXSW 2018. For all of the duo's latest news and updates, follow them on social media:
