Mexican Singer-Songwriter Marissa Mur Delivers Fresh Take on Infidelity with "Que Te Vaya Bonito"

Delivering a refreshing tropical sound and dreamily delicate vocals, it’s no wonder why Mexican singer-songwriter Marissa Mur has landed on the top Spotify playlists with her whimsical singles such as "Amores""Arráncame" ft. Alex Ferreira, and "Darlo Todo."

Last week, the indie starlet released her new single “Que Te Vaya Bonito,” a bubbly track about a broken relationship that unites Mur’s sweet phrasing with the bright sparkle of pop and intoxicating Caribbean rhythms. Produced by Grammy and Latin GRAMMY award-winner Alan Saucedo (Natalia Lafourcade, Sin Bandera), the song takes on infidelity with a humorous but direct approach, boasting an optimistic delivery yet brutally honest lyrics.

Following the successful release of her 2019 album Amores, Mur is now working on her next album, which will follow in the same line as “Que Te Vaya Bonito,” fusing Latin styles such as merengue, bachata, and calypso with pop beats. Listen to “Que Te Vaya Bonito” below.
