Scrub & Ace Ha Drop "Plastic Rock Vol. III"

Hip-hop duo Scrub and Ace Ha continue their innovative "Plastic Rock" series this week with the third of its five installments.

Inspired by Dutch rock band Golden Earring's bass-driven 1973 hit "Radar Love," "Plastic Rock Vol. III" finds Scrub spitting his scintillating rhymes over a swinging beat mixed by producer Ace Ha.

"Ace got this one bouncing and I gave a few nods to my hometown of St. Louis," Scrub said. "I actually really like the original song and we thought the tempo was perfect for a rapid-fire rhyme scheme. Be on the lookout for a full length remix in the near future."

The "Plastic Rock" YouTube series reimagines popular classic rock songs by integrating boombap beats and thought-provoking lyrics.
